TEAR AWAY PLUS Embroidery Stabiliser is a Crisp, Firm, Mediumweight, Tear-Away Stabiliser that is used when a heavier tear-away is preferred. It is great for items that need more support like heavier stitch count designs. It tears away easily without stressing the stitches.
Use as many layers as needed for support. All Sulky stabilizers are acid and lead free!

SULKY® TEAR AWAY PLUS
An ideal stabiliser for projects where more support is required, e.g. for embroidery designs with a high number of stitches. TEAR AWAY PLUS gives clarity and depth to embroidery designs with lots of detail. Despite its firmness, the stabiliser can be easily torn away after processing without distorting the finished work.
SULKY® TEAR AWAY PLUS is the optimal stabiliser for the following techniques:
Machine Embroidery:
For embroidery designs with high stitch density or many details, cutwork or monograms.
1. Place TEAR AWAY PLUS under your fabric and hoop both making sure the fabric is always drum tight.
2. Embroider the desired motif.
3. After embroidering, carefully tear off the excess embroidery backing around the edge of the design.
Sewing:
For dense decorative stitches, dense satin stitches or buttonholes.
1. Place TEAR AWAY PLUS under your fabric.
2. If necessary, secure the stabiliser with the temporary spray adhesive KK100 Economy.
3. Sew the desired seam.
4. Tear away the excess stabiliser carefully along the seam after completion of the sewing work.
